Paver Sealer With Wet Look But No Shine
With over 30 years of experience, I continue to recommend Surebond SB-6000 and Supreme Shield SB-600 to my customers for brick pavers with a wet look without shine. Questions? Feel free to leave me a comment with any pictures below.
Sealing pavers is necessary to preserve them. This solidifies the sand joints, helps reduce weed growth, locks out moisture, and reduces freeze/thaw damage. Sealing pavers can also enhance their natural beauty. There are several finishes available for brick pavers. A matte finish would protect the pavers from the elements but would not alter their appearance. For those looking for a more enhanced look that is not shiny or glossy, a “wet look” may be the answer.
Paver Sealers Wet Look
A wet-look appearance is just like the name implies; the bricks look wet but not shiny. The wet-look sealers are also less slippery when wet, unlike glossy finishes. The best paver sealer with a wey look but no shine comes down to a few choices. One of the best, according to the reviews, for the best paver sealer with a wet look but no shine is the Supreme Shield SB-600 Paver Sealer. This solvent-based penetrating sealer enhances color and a wet-look finish without the fake glossy or plastic appearance. Supreme Shield SB-600 is water, salt, stain, and oil resistant to protect your pavers and preserve their beauty. This easy-to-use paver sealer is perfect for stamped concrete, concrete pavers, and other porous concrete surfaces.
Another excellent choice for the best paver sealer with a wet look but no shine is the Surebond SB-6000 Wet Look Sealer. This sealer brightens and enhances the natural colors of the pavers while providing a wet-look finish. This eco-friendly, water-based paver sealer reduces water penetration yet is breathable and will not trap naturally occurring efflorescence. This allows Surebond SB-6000 to be applied immediately after paver installations.
If the plastic gloss look is not for you, try the best paver sealers with a wet look but no shine. This will ensure a beautifully enhanced look and prolonged protection from the elements. Protect your investment and get the wet look you want with Surebond SB-6000 or Supreme Shield SB-600.

I want to seal my sand blasted marble pavers around my pool deck but don’t want them to look wet. When they get wet they turn darker and more grey comes out. Is it possible to use a matte sealer that will keep them looking as they do when they’re dry?
Sorry but we only work with concrete sealers. Marble is completely different and you would not use the same sealers as concrete.
Hi, for this, look at the Surebond SB-1300.
I had my pavers sealed over the weekend. I have some questions about the quality of the work that was performed:
1) The sand seems to be applied unevenly. In some cracks the sand is visible and some the cracks between pavers does not have enough sand to make it visible on the surface. Is this normal or should all cracks be filled evenly.
2) there is splotching on my pavers. It appears that there is not enough coverage. It causes discoloration of the bricks. I’ll try to post a picture.
Post pics it sounds like they did an uneven job. Might want to contact them
Where in the UK Scotland can I buy this please
USA only.
OK thanks for reply 🙂
Would the sb 600 or sb 6000 be good for vertical surfaces? Stone veneer, I want the wet look but not the sheen or plastic look, I do not want mil build.
The Supreme shield Sb-600 would give a richer wet look.
Can BOTH Supreme Shield SB-600 and Defy/Masonry Saver Epoxy Paver Sealer be used in California?
You need the Supreme Shield SB-350 for CA. Not sure about the MS Paver Sealer.
Try Supreme Shield SB-600.
I just applied the product yesterday on my patio. I used a sprayer which I found out the best way to apply.
It looks awesome! I loved the wet look without the gloss.
However, I mistakenly sprayed over the areas of the patio on the edge, concrete block which I did not want to.
Could you please tell me how to remove the areas I do not want the sealer? It is a concrete surface.
Thank you
You cannot spot remove it as it will get all over the areas that you want to be sealed as well and remove that as well. It will be a mess.
OK. Thank you.
Would the “Surebond SB-6000 Wet Look Sealer” be appropriate for an outdoor patio in San Diego? We’re looking for a good, water-based wet look sealant that has more of a matte finish. We don’t want a slippery surface if we can help it!
Paver patio? If so, yes it will work well.
Thanks! Is there any protection against oil, grease and stains too?
Some, yes.
Hi,
Would either Surebond SB-6000 or Supreme Shield SB-600 protect the color, that is added to stamped concrete via a powdered release agent, from fading? Or, would I need a sealer that leaves a film on top?
Either should help to protect the color.
