Hi, I installed 2000 Ft. of Belgard Classic Pavers and used Glaze N Seal green (Lacquer) as a sealer. I live in Riverside, Ca. summer temp. 100F winter a few weeks of freezing. Most of the sand grout has been washed out by power washing and not replace due to sand getting into the pool. My problem is some of the pavers have the sealer hazing. Probably due to water absorbing into pavers, don't know. Started a few months after sealing has become more visible with time. Can I reset the sealer by spraying tolulene or another product? Next time I reseal (2 to 3 yrs) can I use Superseal 30 on top of Glaze n Seal? Lastly what can I use to grout tight gaps?

    • Concrete Sealer Help says:

Ruben Padilla, you can try to reset but it may just come back and applying the SuperSeal 30 will not fix the Glaze and Seal.

We are installing 12,,ooo sq. ft. of pavers in our condo. Our contractor recommends H&C oil based sealer; our engineer recommends Foxfire 500oWB and another contractor recommends Seal N Lock. What would be the best for a moderate traffic area?

    • Concrete Sealer Help says:

Ron, of the ones you mentioned the Seal n Lock is probably the best. We would prefer a high quality solvent based paver sealer though.

We are remodeling our kitchen. We currently have brick pavers that were installed about 15 years ago. I found more of the same pavers and would like to completely strip my floors of the sealant and place the new pavers and then reseal the floors so that it doesn't look like patch work. Can you please advise me of the best way to go about this and what products to use.

    • Concrete Sealer Help says:

Debbie, this is all interior? It is impossible to strip inside. Even if you did, the new pavers will not match the old ones very well as they will change in color from the UV through the years.

I would like some recommendations for sealing a new installation. This is for a New England installation consisting of concrete paver pathways, steps with concrete stone risers (simlar to the pavers) and step treads/porch made up of natural blue stone. I want to color enhance (wet look) and protect with a low gloss finish on all of it. What product is recommended for this application? Can one product do both the concrete based pavers/risers and the natural blue stone? Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

    • Concrete Sealer Help says:

Look at the Surebond SB-6000 for a wet look color ehancement with no gloss. I believe it can be sued on the blue stone as well but personally have never applied it to that stone type.

I live in CA. I want a sealer for my Stamped Concrete. I want a wet high gloss look. What do you recommend. I have 250 sq feet of cement. I also have some river rocks that I want sealed to make them look like wet. How do I apply with a roller to cement. will streak? How can apply to my river rocks? I have a cheep new sprayer can I use it? Thank you for your time.

    • Concrete Sealer Help says:

Wet look sealers will not work on River Rock. For the stamped concrete, look at the Masonry Saver Decorative Concrete sealer.

I used Stone age WB paver sealer on Sunday Morning. Yesterday so it has been 20 hours, and it still feels a little tacky. Is that normal ?
