Deep Wet Look Paver Sealer

I am a trusted resource for brick paver sealer tips and advice from professionals throughout 2026. Here, I have an updated article about the benefits of applying a deep wet-look sealer to your brick pavers. Do you have any questions? Feel free to leave me a comment with any pictures below.

Applying a paver sealer to your brick paver surfaces is a great way to protect them from Mother Nature’s damaging effects. The elements can play a vital role in creating dirt, grime, mold, mildew, moss, and unwanted weed growth. Harsh UV rays can fade and discolor unprotected pavers. Locking out moisture and preserving the color of your pavers is one good reason to seal them on a regular basis.

Wet Look Paver Sealer

In addition to protection, some paver sealers can bring out the natural beauty of the pavers to help enhance their appearance. A deep wet look paver sealer will give your pavers a rich “wet look” that helps bring out the natural beauty in the brick. This deep, wet look keeps the pavers looking rich for several seasons. This wet look serves well on pavers and is becoming increasingly popular among homeowners today. This wet-look sealer also does a great job of solidifying sand joints between each paver. This helps reduce unwanted weed and moss growth as well as sand erosion.

A deep wet-look paver sealer can be easily applied in a day or over a weekend, depending on the size of the area. A quality wet-look sealer will be user-friendly and provide professional-looking results. Most wet-look paver sealers are thick in nature, giving the pavers a beautiful, deep, rich appearance that remains that way after they have dried. This paver sealer works great around pool decks, patios, walkways, and driveways.

Once applied, the pavers will be waterproof and safe from damaging water penetration. They will hold their natural color longer and not be prone to mold, mildew, or joint sand erosion problems. A deep wet look paver sealer can be very appealing for many types of brick paver surfaces and provides long-lasting beauty and protection.

Scott Paul ~ Restoring Concrete Since 1993 Owner
I am Scott Paul, and I have worked in exterior restoration since 1993. My background is wood and deck restoration, and my crews and I restored more than 10,000 decks across Metro Detroit. That work always included the concrete, brick pavers and stamped surfaces sitting alongside them. ConcreteSealerReview.com covers sealers for those surfaces. I test them the way I test everything else: on real projects, in real weather, over multiple seasons. I also own and operate DeckStainHelp.com, the independent wood and deck restoration resource, which runs on the same testing standard and the same independence policy. Neither review site accepts payment from manufacturers for reviews, ratings or placement.

How do you get rid of mold on and between concrete pavers before sealing? I’ve been told NOT to power wash. So I understand by sealing pavers are you eliminating drainage between them making the deck stay wet/slippery?
