SB-6000 Wet Look Sealer seals and enhances the natural colors of treated surfaces with a luxurious, wet look. It is breathable and will not trap naturally occurring efflorescence, allowing it to be applied immediately after paving stones are installed. SB-6000 Wet Look Sealer improves surface durability and freeze-thaw resistance while protecting the surface from salt, acid, and staining. SB-6000 Wet Look Sealer is a water-based, exterior quality, epoxy modified surface sealer.

Wet Look: 8

– For a water-based sealer, SB-6000 does a better than average job with darkening the brick pavers with a rich wet look. Applies milky white but dries crystal clear.

Gloss Level: N/A

– SB-6000 is not designed to add a gloss or shine.

The original Glaze N Seal “Wet Look” Lacquer provides beautiful high gloss protection to decorative concrete, masonry, and natural stone. For use on porous materials. A clear, non-yellowing sealer that resists tough oils, water, and acid – indoors and outdoors. Deep bonding formula resists peeling, cracking, UV degradation, and efflorescence. Great for driveways, patios, fountains, and ponds.

Glaze ’N Seal is a crystal clear, high solids acrylic coating designed to protect and beautify concrete, masonry, and tile surfaces. This super-tough film was formulated for interior or exterior use. Walk on it – drive on it (it does reject organic stains). It offers ultimate protection in a clear finish.

Glaze N Seal Wet Look Sealer Scores (1-10)

Wet Look: 8

– Glaze N Seal Wet Look is an excellent wet look sealer. The brick paver patio that we applied to had never been sealed since it was installed 6 years ago. The Glaze N Seal enhanced the gray and red paver bricks as if they were wet with water. The customer was very happy after the application.

Gloss Level: 6

– Of the solvent-based sealers, Glaze N Seal Wet Look is not the shiniest. The final gloss level after applying 2 coats was a nice matte shine.

As of 2023, we have found that the Super Diamond Clear Sealer has shown decent results on Stamped Concrete, Brick Pavers, and other Decorative Concrete Surfaces but does have a tendency to turn white from the UV rays. SUPER DIAMOND CLEAR is a solvent-based curing and sealing compound specially designed to cure new concrete, assuring proper cement hydration and strength gain, while providing a non-yellowing seal to protect and enhance the appearance of concrete.

Super Diamond Clear Sealer Scores (1-10)

Wet Look: 9

– We were very impressed with the Super Diamond Clear darkening/enhancing the stamped concrete patio. The overall look and colors were enhanced well.

Gloss Level: 8

– Super Diamond clear contains 25% solids according to the manufacturer. This sealer left a nice semi-gloss shine to the stamped concrete patio. We did notice that the Diamond Clear looked stunning when dried.

H&C Concrete Sealer Clear Gloss Oil-based is a solvent-based sealer formulated with a silicone acrylic resin. H&C’s Concrete Sealer Clear Gloss is a 23% solids high gloss coating for virtually any outdoor application. It seals and protects while providing a durable non-yellowing finish. It can be used as a decorative glaze on masonry walls, brick, and other cementitious materials.

Tested on Stamped Concrete and Brick Pavers

H&C Gloss Concrete Sealer Scores (1-10)

Wet Look: 5

– H&C Gloss did a poor to average job of darkening brick pavers. It performed slightly better for the stamped concrete over the brick pavers but sill not nearly as good as the other solvent-based acrylic sealers.

Gloss Level: 7.5

– Not bad for the gloss level. H&C Gloss concrete sealer contains 23% solid acrylic. This is an average amount for solvent-based sealers. One coat showed little to no gloss but the second coat did make a difference and we ended up with a satin sheen to the pavers and a semi-gloss for the stamped concrete.

Seal n Lock Super Wet is a high solid, two-part water-based pure urethane sealer that penetrates the pavers to provide a longer-lasting protective barrier with superior joint stabilization (no need for polymeric sand) resulting in a ‘wet look.’ Super Wet is user-friendly and environmentally safe. The high solids content of pure urethane wears evenly and lasts longer than solvent-based sealers. Super Wet is available in 2 and 5-gallon kits.

Seal n Lock Paver Sealer Scores (1-10)

Wet Look: 6

– Considering this is the Seal n Lock wet look version, the sealer did a very average job at enhancing or improving the paver stones with a wet look.

Gloss Level: 6

– Same as the wet look, The Seal N Lock did have an average shine after drying. This product goes on milky white but dries to a clear satin shine.

BEHR PREMIUM® WET-LOOK SEALER is a clear, non-yellowing, high solids, acrylic-based masonry sealer. It is formulated to seal, protect and beautify concrete and masonry surfaces with a high gloss, wet-look finish. BEHR PREMIUM WET-LOOK SEALER is also an excellent topcoat for paints and stains.

Applied to a stamped concrete walkway.

Behr Wet Look Sealer Ratings (1-10)

Wet Look: 3

– Wet look? The Behr wet look sealer barely changed the appearance of the stamped concrete surface even after two coats. It went on milky white and dried milky as well.

Gloss Level: 3

– Behr claims that their sealer will leave a high gloss shine. After the two coats, we barely saw any remnants of any gloss let alone a high gloss. Very misleading marketing from Behr.
