Do-It-Yourself Concrete Coatings Made Simple!
Restore-A-Garage Clear Top Coat is a ZERO VOC high performance and high solids 2-component, waterborne aliphatic polyurethane. This unique non-yellowing coating comes in a GLOSS or SATIN finish that remains non-chalking and has superior UV resistance. Restore-A-Garage Clear Top Coat offers performance characteristics typical of high quality, 2-component, solvent-based, aliphatic urethane coatings but provides excellent durability and UV stability without strong odors.
Use Restore-A-Garage Clear Top Coat as a finish or topcoat over the Restore-A-Garage Epoxy Coating. Restore-A-Garage Clear Top Coat exhibits excellent characteristics for abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, corrosion resistance, weather resistance, flexibility, and excellent UV stability.
Note: The Restore-A-Garage Clear Top Coat can also be used on bare concrete.
WHERE TO USE
Restore-A-Garage Clear Top Coat is ideal for a top coat over existing coatings and epoxies for all concrete types such as garage floors, warehouse floors, industrial floors, shop floors, basements, concrete patios, concrete, and countertops.
ADVANTAGES
- High Performance 61% Solids Resin-Based Coating
- Can be applied immediately after or months after your current epoxy application
- High Gloss or Satin Finish
- Zero VOC content
- Provides excellent coverage, clarity, and UV resistance
- For indoor and outdoor use
- Water-based
- The R-A-G Clear Top Coat will self-level and provide a beautiful smooth finish with added protection to the R-A-G Epoxy
Coverage:
- 1.5 Gallon R-A-G Top Coat Kit covers 300-525 sq. Ft. at 6-7 mils
Important Note: When applying the R-A-G Clear Top Coat over the Restore-A-Garage Epoxy Coating, we suggest lightly sanding the Epoxy coating with 100-120 grit sanding blocks/pads after it is fully dry. This will de-gloss the epoxy, create a good Epoxy surface profile and provide excellent adhesion for the R-A-G Clear Top Coat. You can avoid sanding by applying it 15-18 hours after applying the epoxy, but you risk the slight chance of the R-A-G Clear Top Coat separating from the R-A-G Epoxy.
