As an article and comment contributor to the site, Scott has been around the pressure washing industry since attending college. In 1993 he started his first company called Oakland Pressure Wash specializing in exterior pressure washing, deck staining, and concrete restoration. That company evolved into OPW L.L.C. shortly thereafter concentrating more on exterior restoration. Scott and his Restoration Michigan company have restored over 10,000 projects in the Metro Detroit area since the early years. He has become an authority in the restoration industry and has contributed to numerous restoration forums and informative sites. In the spring of 1996, Scott opened his first Brick and Mortar storefront in Rochester Hills, MI. Scott relied on his experience and stocked the store with the best restoration products available. The store quickly became the go-to place for contractors and homeowners seeking the best products possible for their brick and concrete maintenance needs. In 2002, Scott opened his first eCommerce site selling the products he sold through his retail store. This allowed him to offer eCommerce solutions to both contractors and homeowners alike. Over the years, Scott has used and sold enough wood stains and concrete sealers to cover over 100 million square feet. In the past 10 years alone he has helped over 30,000 contributors on his sites with their restoration questions and concerns. He has written hundreds of articles on the subject and loves to help homeowners. His goal has always been to help consumers achieve better results through better products and better service than those provided by a local big box store. Scott is only biased toward the products that perform the best based on his own personal experience using the products and in his 20+ years of helping others. They offer an alternative to regular plain white concrete by adding old-world charm, resembling walkways and streets of the 19th century. Brick Paver patios can be customized to be designed for any area. They are trendy for driveways, walkways, around pools, etc. Of course, with any exterior horizontal surface, there is a need for general maintenance with brick pavers by cleaning and sealing regularly.

SuperSeal30 contains 30% solid acrylic. It darkened our 4-year-old paver patio as if wet and stayed that way after drying. It enhanced the natural red and brown tones in our paver bricks.

Gloss Level: 8

The high solid content of the SuperSeal gave our paver patio a high-gloss shine. The overall appearance on our test patio was quite rich-looking but not so shiny that it looked “fake.” The sealer was slightly slippery for the first couple of weeks when it rained, but after complete curing, that was not an issue.

SuperSeal25 is a Semi-Gloss Concrete Sealer for Brick Paver Patios, Exposed Aggregate, and Stamped Concrete. It darkens the appearance and leaves a shine similar to a semi-gloss.

The SuperSeal25 is a 25% solid solvent-based, breathable acrylic sealer and curing compound suitable for use on interior and exterior concrete surfaces.

SuperSeal25 Paver and Concrete Sealer Ratings (1-10)

Wet Look: 10

SuperSeal25 darkened the paver driveway very well, giving the surface a much-needed enhanced look. All the pavers’ colors stood out, restoring the original look.

Gloss Level: 8

SuperSeal25 contains 25% solids, which leaves our driveway with a semi-gloss shine. The sealer dried in a few hours, and we were able to drive on the surface the next day.
