SuperSeal30: High-Gloss Concrete Sealer for Superior Protection
SuperSeal30 is a premium higher-gloss concrete sealer designed for a variety of surfaces, including Brick Paver Patios, Exposed Aggregate, and Stamped Concrete. This popular sealer enhances the natural beauty of your surfaces by darkening their appearance and leaving a polished, shiny finish.
Key Features of SuperSeal30
- High-Gloss Finish: Adds a rich, vibrant shine to concrete surfaces.
- Darkens Surface Appearance: Enhances the color and depth of your concrete for a bold look.
- Solvent-Based Formula: Provides durability and long-lasting protection.
- Breathable Acrylic: Allows moisture to escape, reducing the risk of hazing or peeling.
Whether you’re sealing a patio, driveway, or decorative concrete, SuperSeal30 is an excellent choice for protection and aesthetics.
SuperSeal30 Paver and Concrete Sealer Scores (1-10)
Wet Look: 10
SuperSeal30 contains 30% solid acrylic. It darkened our 4-year-old paver patio as if wet and stayed that way after drying. It enhanced the natural red and brown tones in our paver bricks.
Gloss Level: 8
The high solid content of the SuperSeal gave our paver patio a high-gloss shine. The overall appearance on our test patio was quite rich-looking but not so shiny that it looked “fake.” The sealer was slightly slippery for the first couple of weeks when it rained, but after complete curing, that was not an issue.
Joint Sand Hardening: 8
– SuperSeal30 is very thick in consistency. While it did harden the sand between the pavers, it did not harden, as did some water-based versions. Due to the thickness of the sealer, it did not penetrate as deeply into the sand. The top 1/2 inch of the sand had hardened.
Fading/Wearing After 2 Years: 7
SuperSeal30 gets our best score regarding fading from the sun’s UV. It faded evenly with no wear. About 70% of the gloss and wet look remained at the 2-year mark.
White Haze/Yellowing: 10
– There was no visible white hazing or yellowing of the sealer after 2 years.
My Overall Score SuperSeal30 at 2 Year Period: 8.6
– SuperSeal30 is an excellent sealer for brick pavers and other decorative surfaces. It does what it is supposed to do by adding a rich look to the surface without any side effects. Future maintenance would be easy with light cleaning and re-coat. We like that it is a breathable styrene acrylic. This dramatically reduces any chance of hazing due to trapped moisture.

how would recommend to remove Super Seal – 25 drips from a driveway? it was used on the stamped portion and some drops are now showing up on the unsealed portion of the driveway. I understand there’s a stripper made by Clemmons but my local supply shop only has a 5 gallon and I’m only looking for a gallon or less? Any idea’s?? maybe Xylene?
Xylene will not work and Clemons does sell single gallons.
can I use this in CA.
No, but they do have a Super seal VOC version.
Which paver seal would be best for a previously sealed driveway ?I would like a wet look.
The Super Seal 30 should work well.
Hi, installed pavers and compacted without a mat. Now I have scuff marks. Would sealer help with this? Thank you!
If you cannot see the marks when wet with water then you should not see the scuff marks when using a wet look sealer like this.
I purchased Super Seal 30 about 10 years ago for decorative curbs. Works great. I now have a stamped concrete patio and about 3-4 gallons left. It is in original can kept in garage. Still OK to use? Just mix and go after pressure washing the patio? (Obviously let it dry thoroughly).
Hard to say for certain but most likely okay.
Wher in england, can i buy this
Not sold in England.
Where can I get Super Seal 30 Gloss. I live in The Villages, Fl……or if on AMazon.
Amazon does not sell it but search online for Super Seal 30 and you can find it.
Where can I guy Super Seal 30 GLoss…I live in The Villages, Fl…..and can get at Amazon if they carry it.
Thanks
I had a contractor pour a patio, stamped concrete, & use your sealer, Super Seal 30. He put the sealer on 4 days after pour. He sealed about 1/2 the area in the morning & the other half in the afternoon. There is a definite color line between the two. Half is darker than the other half. Also, there is quite a bit of crystallization on the surface. What can I do to fix this. I do not trust the contractor.
Post a picture.
Why does my bullnose brick have a milky look after using the seal 30. . I put it on with a brush lightly? Thanks
That looks like moisture under the sealer. Probably internally wet when you applied. Try applying xylene solvent to that area and see if it goes away.
Should I brush it on. As it’s on most of the brick.
You can brush it on. Did it look like that right away or days later?
The next day. Brushing on the xylene now.
Do I apply with brush?? As most of my bullnose looks like that. 🙁
Good afternoon, I applied two coats of Super Seal 30 around a month ago here in Central Florida. It cured for one week with zero rain. It stayed shinny for a few weeks but it now has lost its gloss level and some spots are looking flat. This was applied over 10 year old pavers that previously were not sealed to my knowledge. Prep was doing with steam pressure washing, resending, and it dried for 2 days before sealing.
The sealer doesn’t just disappear. Looks like something is on top or under the sealer, making it look dusty or dull. Did you use polymeric sand?
Yes I did, I also made sure it was off the surface before applying. Does washing cars, using simple green, etc… effect the sealer?
It looks like poly sand haze to me. We see it all the time when the poly sand dust discolors under the sealer: https://www.concretesealerreview.com/what-is-poly-sand-haze/
What kind of paint brush do i use to apply this product around pool bullnose… as a roller gets it in water… thanks.
A brush that can handle solvent-based coatings.
Where can I buy this product in Toronto , Ontario ?
No compliant for Canada.
Can you apply 2 coats?
There would be no advantage to applying two coats. Why would you want to?
I applied one coat of the Super Seal 30/Clear a year ago on my (12′ x 12′) concrete paver patio and it took almost 2 gallons! It appears the pavers absorbed the application leaving a clear rather than a gloss finish! Since you advised against 2 coats….do you think I can get by using one gallon this season? If I apply water to my pavers…they immediately absorb it….that’s why I would appreciate your opinion on using one or two gallons! I use a large brush, rather than a cumbersome roller…it prevents any debris which always stick to rollers application…mostly from… Read more »
Probably one gallon since you have a base coat but hard to say for certain. Best to buy 2 to be safe.
What amount of time does it take to safely protect the application of Super Seal 30 from rain?
4 hours.
I must say that I’m impressed at how quickly you always respond to questions! Good job!
Gentlemen: I have pavers (driveway & walkway) approximately 14 months old, which were sealed 1 month after installation. I live in central Fl on the east coast. I wish to pressure clean and reseal the pavers. Original seal was water based semi-gloss. I will either roll or spray the sealer. What sealer would you recommend. Thank you.
The Super Seal 30 will work as long as the old coating has not discolored.
SUPER SEAL IN MY OPINION CAN BE SLIPPERY IN WET WEATHER .
IS THERE ANY PRODUCT THAT CAN BE USED ON PRINTED CONCRETE/ STAMPED CONCRETE.
THAT WILL NOT BE SLIPPERY IN WET WEATHER.
You can as the Super Griep into the sealer for traction if needed.
How much does it cost?
Check online.
Live in East Texas (Houston area) and wanting to re-seal my stamped concrete pool deck (6 years old). I do have some pitting/spalling on the deck. Would prefer a shiner surface but, concerned about it being slippery. your recommendation please.
You could use the Super Seal 30. Also if you are worried about it being slippery, try the Super Grip Additive.
where is it available
Check online or with manufacturer website.
Where to purchase super seal 30?
Check online or with the manufacturer. Clemons Concrete Coatings.
I just tried a pager sealer called epoxy fortified and turned white and I had to pressured clean it to get it off. Does super seal 30 turn white? I would like a semi gloss finish Mike
No, the SS30 does not turn white but your prep may not be enough. Pressure alone will not remove the old sealer. You will need to chemically strip with the pressure washing. Failure to remove old sealer fully could cause that to turn white underneath the SS30.
can you spray super seal 30
No. Too thick.
Where can I buy super seal 30
Check online or with the manufacturer.
My stamped concrete backyard and the area around the pool was sealed years ago ,and at present some areas are worn out due to heavy traffic, I intend to use the non slippery Super seal 30. Please advise how to clean the surface before applying the sealer, and is the Super Seal 30 is the right choice? Thanking you.
Post a picture of current condition to determine the prep needed.
Is this good for interior brick walls
Sorry but no.
Works for underwater
Is that a question? If so, no.
Love this sealer. I have some left over and it is 4 yrs old. Is it still good??
If opened and 4 years old, it has most likely gone bad.
We used a high gloss sealer on our brick porch floor. A month or so later it now has a white haze that took away the high gloss look. Can super seal be used over that in hopes of getting a shiny wet look back without fear of re-hazing?
We don’t want to paint over it and lose the natural brick look if we can avoid it
Thanks for any advice!
No, you cannot fix the issue by adding more sealer. You can remove the current sealer and then use the SS30. Strip it off with Clemons Concrete Sealer Stripper and heavy duty pressure washing. Remove any soap residue with a Cleaner Degreaser. Let dry for 2 days and then you can seal.
Can I use a sprayer for the superseal30? The can says use brush or roller.
No, you cannot spray it. Too thick.
Thank you.
Where can we purchase this at
Check online.
Looking for the darkest highlights with the best sand sealing. Thoughts on 1 coat of ss25 and the ss30 as a second coat or 2 coats of ss25. Also spend the extra for the polymeric sand or???? 1250 sq ft.
You only need one coat. Adding more is not going to help or make it last longer. Poly sand helps but make sure it is a good brand and does not “haze”.
So the Super Seal 25 or the 30. Pavers are a lighter beige and off white. Looking to get the richest look. New pavers 8 months old. Plan on rolling on. 1250′ so 2 ( 5 ) and 2 ( 1 ) gallons? or 3 ( 5 ). Remainder would be stored in a shed in Florida Climate.
Get the 3 5’s to be safe on the amount.
OK 3 five gallons. But which one for the best high lighting. The 25 or the 30. I will be rolling it on.
They both enhance the same with a deep wet look. the 30 is just a little shinier than the 25.
Thank You.
Pavers around pool were sealed 18 mos. ago. They are whitish closest to pool due I think to it being a saltwater pool. Should those areas be stripped before resealing or will just pressure washing be enough? Also want wet look but not for it to be slippery…which sealer do you recommend?
What was it sealed with before? Brand and type of sealer? A picture would help.
How well does Supper Seal 30 work over polymeric sand? Should I use the sealant on the acid stained concrete pavers first and then use the sand?
Use the sealer after using the poly sand is the correct way.
Hi, I have a brick and mortar sidewalk that I would like to seal. The bricks are a clay type paver. Will the SuperSeal30 work on this type of sidewalk? Thanks.
No. See this about clay pavers: https://www.concretesealerreview.com/best-sealers-for-clay-pavers/
I have brick pavers that were sealed with a water based sealer called Seal N Lock Super Wet look about 2.5 years ago. Not happy with the durability of that product. Any concerns with applying the Super Seal 30 on the pavers previously sealed with Seal N Lock? Thank you and have a nice day
Possibly if the SNL has turned white or discolored? Surface also needs to be porous. Does water bead or soak in?
I’m wondering if I need to strip this before I reseal my patio?
Yes you will need to strip.
thanks
What suggestions do you have for sealing my stamped concrete pool deck? It has cracks and the sealer did not hold up from last year.
You have an issue where the current sealer has started to haze and turn white. This should be chemically stripped and this is not easy around a pool. You may want to hire this done.
Adding a sealer on top of this will not fix the problem and could make it worse.
Should I add zylene to the superseal before applying to colored concrete? Someone mentioned that?
No, you should not thin it.
what are the guarantee of these products?
Check with the manufacturer.
After four years the Super Seal on my sun exposed patio deck has developed as milky haze. Is there a cleaner or stripper to recover the stained concrete color?
Yes, there may be an easier way to restore the shine. By a gallon of Xylene and test a few sq. feet. Apply and let dry for an hour and see if the dull haze goes away.
Can supersealer30 be sold in california??
The Super Seal VOC is.
Is that still a wet look sealer and how much less effective is it than the sealer 30?
Just as effective and still has the wet look.
I have efflorescence on tile around pool. It was sealed 4 years ago. What do I do to remove the efflorescence?
Are you sure it is efflorescence? Just because it is white does not mean it is efflorescence. Not all cleaners will work the same to remove white deposits.
Our deck is stamped concrete with a wood look done by a contractor about 3 years ago. It began having the white haze shown in the attached photos soon after, which possibly appear to be where there are footprints from the application. The surface never really did have a nice finished look although he said he applied a sealer. He will not respond to our inquiries to give assistance on what to do. Xylene was mentioned by someone who looked at it, but we are concerned to go ahead until we are sure we know what we are doing. Can… Read more »
Make sure the area is clean and dry. Buy a gallon of xylene and apply it to one of the white spots. Let it dry and see if they go away. If so, apply the xylene to the entire area. Wait a month and see if the spots return, if they do not, reseal all with a product like the Supreme Shield SB-600. If the white spots do not go away, you will need to chemically strip all and that would require you removing those railings so they are not damaged.
Do not paint over this.
do you recommend this product for Stamped concrete paitos? I have used Super Diamond Clear in the past and have had issues with haze and fading or color loss after just one season. If I do not keep the sealer on, it quickly fades from a deep dark chocolate color to a ugly dull reddish brown color.
Yes but you cannot fix the hazing issue from the Diamond Clear unless you chemically strip that off first.
Hi, I am trying to restore a paver patio for a house I bought. I am unsure if a previous sealer was used. I was wondering if super sealer would work for me. I attached a picture of the patio. Thanks.
Yes, it would work great as long as you remove the dog first. 🙂
Thank you. Is there a particular filler sand I should use to fill in the joints before applying super sealer 30?
Any fine grit sand. Make sure it is dry when you apply. Sweep in and blow off excess from the top and make sure the sand is down about a 1/4″ in the joints from the top of the pavers.
I have a living room vertical indoor brick wall built in 1910. Although mortar is flaking, we are jusr want to apply a matte sealer that would hold for about 5-7 years. What is the best non glossy sealer please.
Sorry but these products are for exterior use.
I have rust in my sprinkler water supply. If I seal my sidewalks will this allow the rust stains to easily wash away? If yes what non-slip. transparent sealer should I use?
No, a sealer will not make the rust easily removable.
When re sealing what to do to get the white bubbles or blister of we’ve done pressure washed 2 times
Post a picture please.
I live in nj. I’m looking for a product like super seal 30 ( glossy acrylic styrene sealer) but had to be Voc compliant. Any recommendations? I’ve used industry gloss sb in the past but it leaves white haze marks in spots after a couple years. This is for a colored stamped concrete pool deck
Super Seal VOC versio wil work. FYI, the old sealer will need to be chemically stripped first.
What’s the purpose of chemically stripping. I’ve sealed the pool deck 3 times now every two or three years and have never stripped. What the process of stripping
The purpose is the white haze issues you have. Adding another sealer on top will not fix this problem and could make it worse. Use a Paver Sealer Stripper made by Clemons Concrete Coatings.
We had someone coat our pool decking in this and the job looked great in some spots and really bad in others, where paint roller marks show really bad. Is there anyone to correct this?
What brand and type of sealer used? Please add a picture.
Super seal 30
Is this plain poured concrete? You cannot use the SS30 on plain concrete. https://www.concretesealerreview.com/wet-looks-sealer-and-plain-concrete-issues/
The only way to fix this is to strip it all off.
